LANDFILL & CONTAINER SITE HOURS

• Landfill hours of operation are Monday through Saturday 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM

• Container sites are open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, and do not open until 11:00 am Sundays.
  
  All sites are closed on Wednesdays and on major holidays.

Recyclables Accepted

• Aluminum beverage cans
• Cardboard, chipboard
• Dryers
• Ferrous metal  (steel, cast iron, wrought iron)
• Glass food and beverage containers
• Household batteries (i.e. AA, AAA, 9V)
• Newspaper, magazines, telephone books, greeting cards
• Plastic Bags (i.e. Wal-Mart and Food Lion bags)

• Plastic (Only plastics marked with the numbers 1, 2, or 5 on the base)

• Steel and bi-metal cans
• Used motor oil
• Washing machines
