Electoral Board Meeting Notice - September 11, 2023 at 9:30 AM
Electoral Board meeting will be held at 9:30 AM on September 11, 2023, 20 East Gay Street. The purpose of the meeting will be to conduct the Logic and Accuracy Testing for the November 7 General Election.
The mission of the Voter Registrar’s Office is to:
- Provide equal opportunity for all qualified citizens of Rockingham County to register to vote
- Maintain accurate voter records used in elections
- Conduct all elections at the highest level of professional standards, ensuring public confidence in the integrity of the results
- Be an information resource for citizens regarding voter registration, absentee voting, elections, and elected officials
IN PERSON ABSENTEE VOTING
Early Voting is available at the Rockingham County Administration Center Board of Supervisors Room (20 E. Gay St.) beginning Friday, September 22, 2023. You do not need an excuse or an application to vote in-person absentee. To vote early, you must: be a registered voter of Rockingham County, provide your name and address, and show an acceptable form of ID. Early voting is open Monday through Friday, 8 AM until 4PM, and the two Saturdays prior to Election Day (October 28 and November 4), 9 AM until 5 PM.

In light of the COVID-19 national health crisis, the Virginia State Department of Elections has made Absentee Voting by mail available to those who wish to practice social distancing.
